Bangor
Bangor, the former chief of the island for almost 1000 years, has a strong natural and cultural heritage from its past. Head for the large Kervilahouen lighthouse, a must-see in Morbihan, with a wonderful panoramic view of the whole island. Head south-west and admire the reflections of the turquoise water of the Aiguilles Du Port Coton.

Le Palais
Capital of Belle-Île-en-Mer, don’t miss Le Palais with its harbour overlooked by the majestic Château Vauban. Locmaria

Sauzon

For nearly 30 years, this Breton village was the holiday home of Sarah Bernhardt, the famous actress and playwright, and is home to a museum dedicated to her, which is listed as a historical monument in France. The second largest port on Belle-Île, this remote village of Belle-Île-en-Mer offers many places of interest to discover during your stay in Quiberon: pretty little streets, the Pointe des Poulains, the Jean and Jeanne menhirs, and the beach of Donnant.
